Our members get real world experiences to apply their skills into the intersection of business and tech. Analysts work through the entire consulting process, from scoping and interfacing with the client to presenting final tech-based deliverables built on data-driven solutions.

We invest significantly into our member tech + prof development, including creating weekly workshops in ML, data engineering, strategy and curating a comprehensive MDC-specific resource hub offering tracks in data science, consulting, SWE, and more.

MDC was created to fill a gap in U-M data-based student orgs, becoming a space for students to learn + apply data science to solve real business problems. While data is our core, we offer end-to-end tech services—from fullstack development to systems design—to deliver a comprehensive tech consulting experience
